Melissa Christina Zayas

Melissa Zayas specializes in illustration, character/conceptual design, and sequential art. She holds a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She was recognized in the SVA Foundation Drawing Show, the 2007 Junior Illustration and Cartoon Thesis show, and the SVA 2008 Cartooning Magazine and Portfolio 29 publications.

She has worked closely with the art and production company for ELLE Magazine, and created clothing designs for The Emory Group, LLC. She has also worked as an art tutor for young children and painted custom murals. She is currently involved in magazine production, product marketing, and freelance work, as well as illustrating and co-writing the online serial novel Three of Swords.

Melissa lives in Brooklyn, NY.
